Tomato Bribery

A federal judge found that Ingomar Packing Co. and Los Gatos Tomato Products did not engage in the two or more acts needed to prove a RICO charge in a bid-rigging and <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/antitrust-class-action-2/">price-fixing scheme</a></strong> on tomato products alleged by competitor Morning Star.

SACRAMENTO – A federal judge found that Ingomar Packing Co. and Los Gatos Tomato Products did not engage in the two or more acts needed to prove a RICO charge in a bid-rigging and price-fixing scheme on tomato products alleged by competitor Morning Star. Claims of Ingomar’s involvement in a potential bribery scheme to win a Kraft contract, however, will proceed to trial.
