TV station discrimination

GULFPORT, Miss. — A Fox TV affiliate in Mississippi will face a former morning news manager’s claims in federal court alleging retaliation and discrimination based on her age and sex. She was over 40 years old when she was demoted 11 days after she filed a discrimination charge with the EEOC, and she says that after her demotion, a male supervisor told other employees he had “gotten rid of the problem.”
