Uber Deal Denied

Taking back his <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/judge-gives-preliminary-approval-to-uber-class-action-settlement/">preliminary approval</a> of a class action settlement between Uber and its drivers over the “upfront” pricing model, a federal judge said Tuesday he <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/DulbergUberSettlement-DENIED.pdf"><strong>won’t approve a deal</strong></a> in which many of the drivers will receive “less than the administrative costs of mailing the check.”

SAN FRANCISCO – Taking back his preliminary approval of a class action settlement between Uber and its drivers over the “upfront” pricing model, a federal judge said Tuesday he won’t approve a deal in which many of the drivers will receive “less than the administrative costs of mailing the check.”
