Ukrainian company seeking damages

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Ukrainian company is suing the Russian Federation in a California court under the Uniform Foreign-County Money Judgments Recognition Act for over $275 million it is owed following a Ukrainian court ruling in its favor for the "unlawful expropriation" of their industrial chemical production complex by Russia in the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
