WASHINGTON (CN) – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced that it will not be further investigating the petition to revise critical habitat for vernal pool fairy shrimp and vernal pool tadpole shrimp under the Endangered Species Act. After a 90-day review, the agency has found that the petition does not provide substantial scientific information indicating that revision of the critical habitat for these species may be warranted.
