DETROIT — The Michigan Court of Appeals revived a father’s wrongful death claims arising from the death of his daughter in the shooting at Oxford High School by Ethan Crumbley. The father said Michigan State Police inadequately responded to tips about potential school violence in advance of the shooting. A state statute extended the statute of limitations deadline by which the father could file his claim, so the lower court should not have granted summary judgment to the state and its police.
