SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge denied a temporary restraining order against Alameda County Jail but gave the putative class until Feb. 22 to file an amended complaint. Meantime the jail must provide jailed women “appropriate medical care and overall treatment,” including “sufficient nutrition (taking pregnancy into account) … and hygiene products,” the Jan. 8 ruling states.
