FULTON, Mo. (CN) – Police say a 69-year-old woman forced a plane to abort a landing when she went onto a runway at Fulton Airport and fired a gun. Investigators say Judy Davis was mad because the plane had repeatedly flown too close to her home. Davis was charged with one count of unlawful use of a weapon and released on $4,500 bond. She allegedly walked into the terminal and said she was going to shoot down a plane. Then she walked out onto the runway and fired a .22 caliber handgun, police said. An airport manager told local media that pilots had been practicing takeoffs and landings for quite a while.
