Wyoming electioneering

DENVER — The Tenth Circuit partially reversed a Wyoming federal court’s decision to strike down portions of a state law that, among other things, banned electioneering within 300 feet of a polling place on election days. This “buffer zone” and a ban on political bumper stickers in that zone are unlawful, but the manner the law is written allows it to be applied in a way that would not infringe on First Amendment rights.
